Good afternoon, Raven Families,
Thank you to the parents and the families who joined us on Thursday for our Meet the Teacher night. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and to have the opportunity to connect, strengthen relationships, and begin the school year together.
A special thank you to our School Council for providing the delicious cookies enjoyed throughout the evening. Your continued support and contributions to our school community are sincerely appreciated.
We would also like to recognize our Grade 9 student volunteers who welcomed families and helped direct parents throughout the school. We are proud of the leadership, responsibility, and school spirit they demonstrated.
Our Grade 9 High School Information Session was also very well attended. Thank you to the families who joined us to learn more about the transition to high school and the opportunities ahead for our students. CTF Fashion 7:
The time has come for the Fall 2026 Trashion Show, featuring the fashion talents of 701 and 702! Our designers are hard at work, and it is sure to be an immense success (invitations to follow).
In support of their work, we are seeking trash that might find new life on the runway... err, hallway. If you have newspapers, flyers, plastic bags, padded envelopes, or other clean materials that come in sheets, we would be grateful for your donations. Please bring donations to the Trashion Studio (upstairs in Rm 18) – Ms. Shuffler
CTF Fabrication 8:
The fabrication CTF class is building mousetrap cars, and we need CDs or DVDs for wheels. Your old Encyclopedia Brittanica CD ROMs? A scratched-up copy of Dance Mix 93? That old installation disc for Windows Vista? All of these are suitable wheels for our project. Let's get them out of your house and into our cars. Feel free to drop them off at RM 27 or in the office. – Mr. Baranec
