Good afternoon, Raven Families,

Thank you to everyone who helped make our Terry Fox Run such a great success! Here are the final lap totals for each grade, along with a few milestones worth celebrating:

• Grade 5 beat last year’s record of 505 laps with an impressive 542 laps — that’s approximately 487 km! You set a new Grade 5 record and got off to a great start.
• Grade 6 didn’t quite reach the goal of beating last year’s 586 laps, but you still completed an impressive 507 laps, or approximately 456.3 km. You also beat last year’s Grade 5 total of 505 laps!
• Grade 7 had a huge year! You surpassed last year’s 720 laps and set a new record with an incredible 872 laps — approximately 784.8 km. You also beat last year’s Grade 6 total of 586 laps.
• Grade 8 also came through with a new record! You beat the goal of 704 laps by completing 777 laps, or approximately 699.3 km. You also surpassed last year’s Grade 7 total of 720 laps.
• Grade 9 surpassed last year’s total of 449 laps, completing 591 laps — approximately 531.9 km. While you didn’t quite beat last year’s Grade 8 total of 704 laps, you still put up a strong total and helped contribute to our school-wide distance.

Great job, Ravens! Every lap counted, and together you helped us honour Terry Fox and his incredible Marathon of Hope. Thank you to everyone who participated, encouraged others, and helped make the day a success! - Jennifer Leung
