A huge thank you to the supportive parent volunteers for providing the RTA staff with an amazing potluck dinner for Parent Teacher Conferences. As always, it is a teacher highlight of the year! I am sorry to have missed the celebration of learning, and I look forward to connecting with families throughout upcoming athletics and band events.

Competing with his mom for the sickness award, I am happy to say that my son has moved out of the ICU and his cardiologist is optimistic with his recovery. The weight on my heart has been enormous this week, and I thank so many of you for your well wishes.

RT Alderman Band Winter Fundraiser:

·       The Grades 7-9 band is running a fundraiser through Growing Smiles. 

·       We are selling poinsettias, wreaths and various Christmas plant decorations. 

·       Orders will be delivered Dec. 7 to the school and available for pick up after school Dec. 7 and during the day Dec. 8. 

·       The Growing Smiles Fundraiser has been extended over the weekend!

·       The funds raise will help to subsidize costs for overnight band camps  and musical experiences.

Basketball Season:

·       Congratulations to our basketball players for such a great season. RTA students demonstrated both athletic skill and grace, with a passion for learning and playing the sport.

·       A huge thanks to all of our amazing coaches – teachers and parents – for fostering the love of everything basketball.
