Thank you to all of the families who were able to attend Thursday’s Celebration of Learning, as well as today’s RTA Science Fair Judging. It was such a memorable week, filled with families, alumni, and students. The wonder and innovation was awe-inspiring, and we continue to be humbled by our students’ creative and problem solving.

Alberta Assurance Survey (Attention: Raven 7 Families):

• Every year, Alberta Education surveys students, their parents and all teachers on behalf of schools and school authorities to assess what is working well and where there is room for improvement.
• The survey asks students in grade 7 and their parents, about their thoughts, feelings and experiences in school. The survey will be administered between January and March 2024.
• Participants will be asked questions on a variety of topics, such as welcoming, caring, respectful and safe learning environments; student learning engagement; and parental involvement.
• The survey does not ask for names and cannot be used to identify individual participants. 

Volleyball Games Days and Locations:

• SR. Girls: Tuesday @ Lakeshore
• JR Boys: Wednesday @ Samuel W. Shaw
• SR Boys: Wednesday @ Marshall Springs
• JR Girls: Thursday @ Willow, David Thompson and RTA 

Volleyball Games & Spectators (non-participants):

• Students are welcome to attend games as long as they are accompanied by a parent/guardian who stays with them for the duration of their stay.
• Audience members should cheer and support all players, referees, coaches, and spectators in a positive manner. 

Grade 9 Farewell: Save the Date

• While we’re not finished the school year quite yet, we wanted to share a very early heads up regarding our Grade 9 Farewell (Ceremony at the school with family, followed by a student celebration at Heritage Park) which will be held after school on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
