​On September 25th , Staff members from five Science Alternative Program schools (Riverside, Valley View, RT Alderman, Maple Ridge, and Louis Riel) and colleagues from the Core Curriculum team, came together for a day of immersive learning on the land with Elder Harley Bastien at Buffalo Rock Tipi Camp near Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump. The goal of this day was to empower staff with valuable insights regarding the integration of learning from the land in connection to Indigenous ways of being, belonging, doing, and knowing into their science curriculum planning​.​ - Indigenous Education Newsletter​
