Thank you to our students and families for a wonderful first week of school—one filled with adventures like indoor recess, broken bells, a silent buzzer, and phones on the fritz (broken bells, buzzer, and phones—oh my!), all balanced by smiles, new friendships, and the joy of building community together.

Dogs on School Grounds: 

• A gentle reminder that dogs are not permitted on school property. For everyone’s safety, please also avoid tying dogs to fences, as this can create risks for students.

Student Drop off and Pick Up:

• For everyone’s safety, staff parking lots are reserved for employees, as vehicles are often arriving and leaving throughout the day.
• We kindly ask that students be dropped off and picked up in the designated areas, such as on Acadia Drive or across from the school.

RTA Spirit Wear: 

• We’re excited to announce that our school spirit wear store is officially open! Families can browse a variety of clothing and accessories to help students (and parents!) show their school pride.
• Orders can be placed online at https://store.vbsapparel.ca/rt_alderman_school_store/shop/home.
• The store will close on September 14^th with spirit wear items being delivered in 3-4 weeks, and quick turnaround sports team items being delivered in 2 weeks.
• Please be sure to include your child’s name in your order.
