Good evening, RTA Ravens,
Wishing all of our families a fantastic weekend. It was a short but mighty two-day week, as we managed to pack in a full week’s worth of learning! We kicked off our first basketball game since our return to school, completed our Grade 6 vaccinations, and kept the building buzzing at near-laboratory levels of activity.
As winter continues its ongoing experiment in spontaneous freezing and melting, we hope you get a chance to enjoy the snow before it pulls another disappearing act. A quick reminder that Picture Day is next week—time to prep those award-winning smiles. More information about booking parent-teacher conferences will be heading your way on Monday.
Grade 7 CTF Fashion Supplies Needed:

For our next project, we will be making pajama pants and are looking for donations of bed sheets! We are looking for flat sheets in good condition.
- Donations can be brought directly to Rm 25.
- Thank you for supporting student learning!

The PVA application process is open between November 1 and March 15.
- Please check their website for all it offers at www.pvacentral.ca.
Grade 9 CTF Supplies Needed:
Our Grade 9 students in Mr. Lee’s CTF Environmental Stewardship class are currently working on a project focused on plastics in our world. As part of this learning experience, students will require A LOT plastic materials and items for their project, and we need your help! We are needing various unwanted, used (clean and rinsed) or unused plastic items from home, or around your community!
We kindly ask for your help by collecting plastic materials such as:
- Plastic bags
- Plastic cutlery, bowls, cups, straws (clean and rinsed please!)
- Plastic containers
- Plastic toys (large, small, broken, etc.)
- Any other plastic “junk” items that would normally be recycled, donated, or thrown away!
We will require these plastic items as soon as possible! Mr. Lee will be collecting these items over time, so please feel free to drop them off in the Art room whenever items are gathered. With Fall Break approaching, this is a great opportunity to clean up around the house while contributing to our students’ learning!
Thank you very much for supporting our learning! With gratitude, Mr. Lee
