What an exciting weekend – first, the May-the-Fourth-be-with-you Saturday, followed by a Cinco de Mayo Sunday! 

Gently used Aquariums:

• We are currently looking for gently used aquariums – they can be reptile or fish aquariums, as no water will be sitting in the tank. If you have any tanks, hiding in your storage, that you are not using, we will gladly take them from you!

Gr. 5-6 REVISED Cellphone Policy:

• To ensure a focused and positive learning environment for our grade 5-6 students, we have decided to implement a policy restricting phone usage during morning and lunch breaks.
• As a staff, we have noticed increased inappropriate usage of phones, and we believe this adjustment will promote healthier social interactions and academic engagement. 
• We appreciate your understanding and support in this matter as we strive to create the best possible learning environment for all students

Band Growing Smiles Spring Fundraiser:

• The RTA band is holding our last fundraiser of the year with Growing Smiles.  Please see the link below and feel free to share with friends and family.  
• The orders will be delivered to RT Alderman School (time to be announced closer to the date) on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 and orders can be placed until Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 12 noon.  
• All proceeds will go towards the band program and supplementing extra-curricular activities for the students.
