Happy Friday, Raven Families,
We hope that you have been enjoying a restful and well-deserved Spring Break; it is hard to believe we are already entering the final stretch of the school year!
  • Before the break, our Grade 9 Leadership students hosted a Spring Neon Dance during the school day, which was a fantastic success. The gym was full of energy, with students and staff showing off their dance moves and making great use of the photo booth. There were plenty of memorable moments, including a certain PE teacher’s breakdancing moves that may be talked about for quite some time. A big thank you to our student leaders for organizing such a fun event for everyone.
  • Our science fair representatives are also hard at work putting the final touches on their projects as the Calgary Youth Science Fair approaches. There is a lot of creativity, problem solving, and likely a bit of last-minute fine tuning happening as they get ready to present their work at the Olympic Oval.
  • Our final group of Grade 9 students will be heading out next week to the BGI overnight experience. We wish them a memorable time as they take part in this unique learning opportunity, and we suspect they will return with great stories and a need for some extra rest.
  • A reminder that this will be a short week, with no school on Friday in recognition of Good Friday!
Next Year Planning:
  • As we begin planning for the upcoming school year, we ask that you let us know if your child will not be returning to RTA next year. Having an accurate understanding of our student enrollment helps us organize classes, staffing, and programming to best support all learners.
  • If your family is moving or if your child will be attending a different school, please inform the school office by Friday, April 10.
  • Thank you for your support in helping us plan effectively for the year ahead.
