After a week that felt like it was moving at light-speed—football and track practices providing the kinetic energy, field experiences adding the variables, and our Grade 6 & 9 students completing their first Provincial Achievement Tests in ELA—we’re all due for some well-deserved solar recharging!

 

Yellow School Bus Registration Deadline: June 22, 2025:

 

·         Families have until June 22 to register for yellow bus transportation for the 2025-26 school year.

·         Transportation will continue to accept registrations after the deadline

·         Families are encouraged to register before the deadline to ensure that students are added to routes for the start of the school year.

Preparing for Final Exams: How We Can Work Together

Final exams are coming up, and we want to help every student feel confident and ready. Here is how teachers supporting students and how families can help at home:

·         Exam schedules and topics will be shared in advance so that students know what to expect.

·         Students will receive study guides, review materials, and practice questions to help them prepare.

·         In class, teachers will review key concepts and practice test-taking strategies.

·         Teachers will talk about ways to manage stress and stay focused, and they will remind students that doing their best is what matters most.

·         Extra help will be available through review sessions as well.

Families can support by:

·         Encouraging a consistent study routine and healthy habits (sleep, meals, breaks).

·         Providing a quiet space for studying.

·         Talking with students about their goals and offering encouragement.
