Coco Brooks Order Pick Up

• Coco Brooks orders must be picked up on Thursday, April 11 between 3:40-5:00 PM at RT Alderman School in the front foyer. (Please do not come before students are dismissed at 3:35 PM. (Families may park in front of RTA, but not past the compound)
• Please be patient as there may be a bit of a line right after school.  
• We do not have fridge space to store orders at school. 
• Your order may be picked up by anyone (another band parent, neighbour, family friend). 
• If the day or time does not work, please email me to arrange an alternate time.  Thank you for supporting the RTA band program!

Banff Music Retreats forms

• Some classes have received their Banff Music Retreats field trip forms (8B and 9B), and 8A and 9A will receive theirs on Monday.  
• In the package you will find an itinerary and packing list.  
• If you have not connected with me regarding the parent meeting, please email me at kegray@cbe.ab.ca.  I still need to connect with 4 or 5 parents.  
• The Banff Music Retreat fees have been uploaded to your MyCBE account.  Please pay the remaining balance before April 28.         

Grade 9 Math Contest Results:

• The following RTA students received a Certificates of Distinction: Max S; Ellis M; Stephen C; Finn  Q; Nathan V; Strahinja S; Tyler K; Jackson S; Dorian P; and Owen P.
• Two RTA students made the Alberta Honour Roll: Max S  (Ranked #37 in Alberta) and Ellis M (Ranked #45 in Alberta)
• RTA was ranked 27th Overall in Alberta 
• RTA was ranked 19th for the "Team Honour Roll" in Alberta 

Scent Free School:

• A friendly reminder to all families that RT Alderman is a scent free school. 
• Students should refrain from wearing and/or spraying perfumes, colognes or scents, as we have a number of staff and students with conditions such as asthma, which are exacerbated by scents in the building.

Calgary Flames Grade 6 YMCA Membership:

• Every Grade 6 student in Calgary is eligible to receive a free YMCA 13-month membership to the YMCA, thanks to the generous support of the Calgary Flames Foundation.

• As we prepare for the 2024-2025 school year, we invite you to share important information regarding your child’s learning - strengths, areas of growth, accommodations, etc. by Friday, May 3, 2024.
